ACC endorsed candidates who prioritize actionable solutions to climate and conservation challenges. Incumbents cosponsored legislation like the Great American Outdoors Act, Nuclear Energy Leadership Act, USE IT Act, and Trillion Trees Act. Challengers proved themselves to be fierce environmental champions, ready to get to work on pragmatic solutions.

ACC VP of Government Affairs Quill Robinson said: “These victories so clearly demonstrate that the American people are hungry for a new approach on a variety of issues, and the environment is near the top of the list. We’re so excited for this next generation of leaders, who will prioritize real solutions to conservation, energy, and climate issues.”

As ballots continue to be counted, we look forward to seeing final results from CA-39, CA-48, WA-08, as well as the Alaskan and North Carolina Senate races. The movement ACC has built is stronger than ever going into 2021, and we plan to work harder than ever to move the needle toward real environmental solutions.
