ACC Action Applauds Republican Defense of Energy Tax Credits
WASHINGTON – The American Conservation Coalition Action (ACC Action) applauds the effort of 18 House Republicans to stand up and announce their desire to defend key energy tax credits.
The letter, sent today to Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA),was led by Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus Chair Andrew Gabarino (R-NY) asking the Speaker to recognize the value and market certainty created by key energy tax credits that will continue to push forward America’s energy and environmental goals.
ACC Action’s Andrew Mills said: “The past few years have seen an explosion of investments in much needed energy projects all over the country, especially in rural areas. Pulling the rug from under these investments is a recipe for a less competitive America on the world stage and fewer opportunities for American communities.”
We appreciate the leadership shown by these Republican Members of Congress to champion market-based solutions that further unleash the power of American energy, and we look forward to continuing to partner with each of them to ensure a cleaner, brighter future for our nation.
