WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a joint op-ed published today in Fox News, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Ranking Member of the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, Miss America 2023 Grace Stanke, and American Conservation Coalition Action President Chris Barnard write about the need to reestablish America as the world’s leader in nuclear energy through legislation like the bipartisan ADVANCE Act.

“Clean, reliable, abundant nuclear energy already provides about 20 percent of America’s electric power generation and could be the key to powering our world. That is, if we choose the right policies.
