ACC Activists Push Presidential Candidates to Talk Climate

OHIO -- When debate topics were announced last week, climate change was not included. Activists with the American Conservation Coalition (ACC) immediately acted, asking both President Trump and former Vice President Biden: what about climate?

Tonight, debate moderator Chris Wallace asked President Trump if he believed in man-made climate change. For the first time, President Trump acknowledged that human activity has, at least in part, caused climate change.

ACC President Benji Backer said: “This is what ACC was founded to do. Young people want to see action on climate, and presidential candidates must speak to this issue if they’re serious about the future of this nation. I could not be more proud of our activists for making their voices heard.”

Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris will debate next on October 7. ACC urges both candidates to be ready to talk about climate action.
