ACC Action Announces Energy & Conservation Champions
WASHINGTON – The American Conservation Coalition Action (ACC Action) announced 12 champions of energy and conservation in the 119th Congress and Governors’ Mansions across the country. This announcement comes one week before ACC Action’s first fly-in of the 119th Congress.
Next week, ACC Action will bring 50 volunteers to Capitol Hill to advocate for unleashing nuclear energy, enacting robust permitting reform, protecting key energy tax credits, and empowering American agriculture in the Farm Bill.
These leaders were chosen based on their legislative or policy work on issues such as permitting reform, common-sense conservation, regenerative agriculture, and clean energy innovation. For members of Congress, participation in key caucuses, such as the Conservative Climate Caucus, was also considered.
No matter their office, these champions clearly demonstrate that conservation is conservative. The list is as follows:
- Governor Mike Braun (R-IN)
- Governor Spencer Cox (R-UT)
- Governor Kelly Ayotte (R-NH)
- Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC)
- Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
- Senator Susan Collins (R-ME)
- Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA)
- Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR)
- Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R-NY)
- Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
- Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE)
At ACC Action, we look forward to working with these leaders to ensure American energy dominance and good environmental stewardship. To read more about the work of these champions, visit this page.
